The Sea Ranch Chapel

OPEN:

Daily (Open & closing hours depend on the season)

PRIMARY USE:

Individual & group prayer and meditation of nonsectarian nature.

PRIVATE USES:

Memorial services, weddings, commitments, baptisms etc.

RESERVATIONS:

Verbal requests for a reservation date are accepted on a temporary basis only to alleviate conflicts in facility use scheduling. Private use reservations, therefore, are considered binding only upon receipt of a rental fee, a cleaning/security deposit and a sponsor which requires the signature of an Association member.

USER FEES:

Private functions - $350.00 rental, $40.00 Facilities Monitor fee plus $100.00 cleaning & security deposit (refundable) all of which must be paid in advance.

CAPACITY:

Use of Chapel site (inside as well as outside) is limited to 20 PEOPLE MAXIMUM

CANCELLATION: In case of a cancellation, a written ten-day notice before the event must be received to qualify for a refund. EXCEPTION: For reservations made more that 30 days in advance, 30 days written notice is required. The Association will deduct $20.00 from the fee to cover processing of any cancellation.
RESTRICTIONS:
  • NO RICE, BIRDSEED, CONFETTI  or any other substance may cast about on the Chapel site. Please...no signs, balloons, streamers etc. to be placed on Highway 1, at the entrance or on site.
  • NO food or beverages permitted on the Chapel Site.
  • NO smoking, candles or open flame ont he Chapel Site.
  • NO receptions or formal gatherings allowed on the Chapel site.
  • Use of Chapel site, (inside and outside) is limited to 20 people Maximum.
  • Facility must be thoroughly cleaned by user after use.
  • If used agter hours (5:00 PM or later) arrangements must be made with permission of the Community Manger.
PARKING & RESTROOMS Parking is limited to the 14 designated parking spaces only

No RVs allowed on the Chapel site.

There are no toilet facilities on the Chapel site.

NOTICE: FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THESE RESTRICTIONS MAY RESULT IN THE FORFEITURE OF THE CLEANING AND SECURITY DEPOSIT!

HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION:

Please contact Paula Lim, Chapel Coordinator, at the Sea Ranch Association Office 707-785-2444 plim@tsra.org Tuesday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at least 10 business days prior to your event to request date and time availability.  The Coordinator or the Front Desk receptionist will help set up a temporary reservation in order to prepare necessary agreement and policy forms which the user must sign and return with fees. They will explain the procedure and answer any questions you may have before paperwork is prepared and mailed. The policy forms will include restrictions, cancellation and parking information.
