Dos and Don'ts

The following Dos and Don'ts pertain to all Sea Ranchers, guests and renters. These rules are strictly enforced and substantial fines may be imposed for infractions. Renters - For more General Information please call your rental agency.

Trail Access
Walk on posted trails only. Ticks, which can carry Lyme Disease, are often prevalent in the grasses. Don’t trespass on/through any private property or construction sites.

Dogs
Dogs must be on a leash at all times when not on owner’s property. Substantial fines will be imposed for any dogs observed not on leashes — impounding can result. Dog droppings are to be picked up and removed to a proper receptacle by the pet owner.

Bicycles
No bicycle riding on any of the bluff top trails. Bicycle information may be obtained at the Sea Ranch Association Office, 975 Annapolis Rd., Tues - Sat. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Wildlife
Do not touch or feed baby seals or any other wildlife on the Sea Ranch.

Passes
Always display a current Sea Ranch vehicle pass. Vehicles not displaying valid passes will be "booted’ and charged a substantial release fee. Park in designated areas only or behind provided screening at houses. No overnight parking is allowed on streets. Personal ID cards for each member/guest, or a white renter pass must be presented for access to all Association pools or tennis courts. If additional passes are needed over the allotted six, members/guests and renters may purchase Day Passes at the Association Office for $5 per person per day (Tues - Sat only 9 a.m. -5 p.m.)

Fire Danger
No smoking on any Sea Ranch trails and commons. Firearms and fireworks are prohibited. Dispose of fireplace and barbecue ashes in metal containers only.

Trash/Garbage
No littering on trails or other areas. Carry away all of your trash/litter. Leave garbage cans securely sealed in provided enclosures. Prevent wildlife from scattering garbage into the environment.

Look Up!
Please turn off outside lights at night, when not in use, to allow better viewing of the beauty of the stars.
