
Safety & Security Manager – $1,000 Signing Bonus
The Sea Ranch Association is seeking a Safety and Security Manager to direct all emergency planning and private security operations at a unique and world-renowned community.
- Responsible for facilitating cross-functional emergency response efforts, supervising the 11-person Security Patrol Officer team, and managing a large and engaged contingent of Disaster Response volunteers.
- Full-time position with off-hours availability on a limited basis
- $65,000-$85,000 annual salary (commensurate with experience)

The ideal candidate will have experience working in law enforcement, emergency medical services, military service, or disaster operations. The Safety and Security Manager ensures the welfare of members and visitors of The Sea Ranch Association (TSRA).
The Position:
- Directly supervises and oversees Security Patrol staff, ensuring the smooth operation and successful completion of daily patrols, monitoring, and reporting, as well as ongoing training and response protocols.
- Communicates with the community when needed to relay warning, infraction, and fine notices for CC&R and rule violations. Serves as the primary contact for issue resolution.
- Serves as primary liaison with local, state, and national public safety, health, and emergency management agencies.
- Develops and manages emergency management programs and related initiatives for TSRA, in accordance with national, state, and local emergency preparedness requirements and standards.
- Coordinates and directs the Disaster Response Volunteer team, including medical professionals, division leaders, damage assessors, and shelter managers. Prepares and conducts training and drills, helps recruit and solicit volunteers.
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years’ experience in operations, administration, and customer service.
- 2+ years’ experience supervising team members within an administrative or office environment, Bachelor of Science degree or education commensurate with the needs of the position.
- Experience working with confidential information.
- Prior experience with a public agency, homeowners association, or municipal environment is desirable.
- Prior experience in law enforcement, emergency medical services, military service, disaster operations is desirable.
- Understanding of personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.
- Ability to mentor, influence, and educate others, and aid in their professional growth and development.
- Team-oriented and collaborative approach with all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and PC equipment, and manual dexterity to adeptly type and use computer equipment.
- Ability to maintain a superior customer service orientation at all levels of TSRA.
