2025 Slurry Seal Road Closures
This year The Sea Ranch Association continues planned road maintenance through the application of slurry seal to approximately one-fifth of the roads on The Sea Ranch. This treatment has proven to be a cost-effective method of maintaining Sea Ranch roads.
Slurry seal road work is planned for the north end of The Sea Ranch September 15-19. Preparation work has begun, including trimming trees/shrubs in the commons and street edges, cleaning and preparing roads and curbs, and sealing cracks. Planned road closures are noted in the image above.
Facility Closures
Several facilities will be intermittently closed over the next few weeks due to slurry seal work and scheduled maintenance that will improve member experience and safety in the long run. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Scheduled closures include:
- Del Mar Pool & Court, Sept. 8-19: Pool, saunas and locker rooms will be closed for reroofing. Del Mar Center tree removal work begins. Courts will remain closed for tree removal work.
- Del Mar Center, Sept. 18: Entire facility closed due to road resurfacing on Leeward Rd.
- Ohlson Basketball Courts, Sept. 17: Courts closed for resurfacing.
- Playground on Deer Trail, Sept. 18: Closed for road resurfacing.
- Ohlson Rec Center, Sept. 29-Oct. 22: Pool, saunas, locker rooms and courts will be closed for regularly scheduled maintenance.
